Registration has opened for the International Dog and Cat Welfare Conference 2026, organised by Battersea Dogs & Cats Home through Battersea Academy.
The free online event will take place on Thursday 24 September 2026 and is aimed at people working or volunteering in animal shelters and rehoming organisations around the world.
Practical learning for the animal welfare sector
According to Battersea, the conference has been designed to provide practical learning and insights for those working across the rescue sector.
The programme will include expert speakers, real-world case studies and sessions covering animal care, behaviour, rehoming and organisational practice.
Delegates will also be able to take part in live presentations, panel discussions and question-and-answer sessions with speakers.

The conference is open to anyone working or volunteering within animal shelters and rehoming organisations.
