How we review your listing

We’re yappy about ensuring we do our best to only list ethical and compassionate dog services that are kind to both people and dogs.

There will be space within your listing application to detail any memberships, accreditations and qualifications to support your expertise.

Using our years of experience as dog professionals, we will review your application before setting your listing live.

We will reach out to discuss the reasons why or to request further information if we have any questions about your business. If Yappily isn’t a good fit for your business, we’ll issue you a full refund to the card used to make your payment.

We are aware that there are ongoing discussions among many dog communities about training methods, practices and approaches to dog care.

We aim to be flexible in accommodating differing views but will not accept listings from any dog businesses who we believe to use fear, intimidation, or aversive equipment in their interactions with dogs or people.

Due to the wide spectrum of dog businesses who list with Yappily, this isn’t always straightforward. We solicit advice from trusted experts in professions that we are less experienced in – for example vets, legal experts and pet transport.

Whilst this can be a tricky line to navigate, we approach it with the best of intentions and open minds.

We’ve priced our premium listings as low as possible and aren’t able to accommodate monthly payments due to the additional costs associated with infrastructure. It’s a one off annual payment to enable us to keep fees as low as possible.
If this is out of your budget, then please claim a free basic listing. You can upgrade anytime.

Signing up for a premium listing delivers you a listing on Yappily’s directory for a year. If you’d like your listing removed for any reason, simply send us an email at woof@yappily.co.uk and we can take your listing down.

There are no refunds available for terminated listings mid year.

You will receive an email notification prior to your annual renewal, giving you the opportunity to choose to renew or delete your listing.
