My name is Avril and I have held my PCT-A (Professional Canine Trainer - Accredited) accreditation through the Pet Professional Accreditation Board since 2017.  I am a full training member of a number of organisations renowned for their "do no harm" ethics: INTODogs, ICAN.  This means I am held accountable for both theoretical and practical skills and commit to continual personal development throughout each year.

I have owned, exhibited, competed with my Ridgebacks and trained a variety of breeds for nearly 20 years and have been teaching for over 10 yrs - from ringcraft to reactives!

I now love to share my passion of teaching puppies, adolescents (classes and 121), scentwork and mantrailing, and run regular workshops for every day behaviours that you need help for ie walking on a loose lead, not jumping, enrichment games, tricks and more!

My aim is to give you the foundation skills to help you build trust and understanding between you, your family and your puppy.

I teach both ends of the lead with fun to create a friendship built on solid foundations, foundations, foundations – so you and your family can grow and learn together with your canine friend, wherever your journey takes you!
