October 15, 2023 at 9:12 pmWe came to Nathan’s Paw Trails after some bad experiences with other independent dog sitters. Teri at Nathan’s Paw Trails has been awesome working with us and our stranger reactive dog, Sonny, on a plan to make overnight pet sits possible. She’s been dedicated to visiting weekly to allow Sonny to get to know her and they’ve just had their first overnight stay together. It went so well with Sonny settling and begging for pats in no time.
Teri’s experience and demonstrated respect for Sonny and his challenging behavior really gave us confidence that he was in good hands and we’ve already booked Teri in for some longer pet sits.
It’s not easy finding carers for dogs with challenging behaviors but the team at Nathan’s Paw Trails are experienced, skilled and respectful. Thank you for providing such a great service!

October 20, 2023 at 8:22 amWe have used Nathan’s Paw Care for 3 holidays of kitty check-ins now and have been very impressed with the service. The booking and payment system is very professional and well-organised with proper invoices etc. prepared by Teri. You pay half upon booking, and the other half a week before departure. A WhatsApp group is set up between Teri, Nathan and the pet owner.
Nathan came to visit our cat Rosie before we went away, to make friends with her, and find out about her feeding and litter tray, and of course give us the chance to meet him!
While we were away, Nathan sent WhatsApp reports and photos of Rosie every day which was reassuring.
When we got home Rosie seemed very contented and it was obvious that Nathan had looked after her well and also cleaned up thoroughly (she usually scatters her food all over her mat ????).
We are very pleased with the service.

It was so nice to be able to go away and relax knowing full well they would be so well cared for. I was so impressed with the service we received we have already booked Teri again for our holiday next year. I would highly recommend especially if you have multiple dogs to be cared for. October 1, 2024 at 7:50 amJust completed an amazing workshop on understanding canine body language, Nathan did this over Teams so you don’t have to travel, the small group environment meant more care and I felt comfortable asking questions. I really enjoyed and have learnt a lot to the point of seeing behaviours from 10 years ago and now knowing what they actually mean. For anyone thinking of doing this I would definitely recommend- Looking forward to getting my certificate and can’t wait to do the reactive rascals course. Thank you Nathan.

We were super happy with how it all went with constant communication in WhatsApp with photos, videos and messages. It looked like the dogs were having a great time and looked very happy. It meant we could relax and enjoy our holiday without worrying about them. We’ve already booked in for two more times next year! Highly recommend.

December 5, 2024 at 6:58 pmNathan has been helping me with separation anxiety training for one of my dogs. The support he gives is amazing, talks me up when I need to be reminded of the progress but also reminds me to take things steady if I’m getting too ahead of myself. He holds me to account in the kindest way! It’s a long journey for my pup and me and it isn’t going to change quickly but I couldn’t have done this without Nathan. If you don’t have a dog with SA, you just don’t understand it in the same way. I can talk to Nathan when it’s getting me down and going wrong and I know he has truly lived through the same things. I speak to him more frequently than list of my family! He’s so so super lovely

August 30, 2025 at 7:37 pmI could not recommend Nathan’s paw trail enough! Teri walks our very loved, but very demanding, sausage dog Julius. She is amazing with him, treats him like her own. I trust her implicitly and I know Julius absolutely adores her too. We get a lovely updates after visits, Teri even raises any concerns if she notices something unusual with Julius, she knows him so well. Nathan and Teri have been extremely supportive whilst our sausage has had some surgery lately. We have had to last minute cancel and reschedule and they have done their very best to accommodate. Even when not seeing him they have asked about him, just to check he’s ok. We (including Julius) would not be without any of them. I cannot praise them highly enough, cannot recommend them enough. I hope they realise how much they are appreciated and loved by us all.

Julius is such a special little character and we feel so lucky to be part of his world. Teri absolutely adores him and we’re so glad that comes through in the care she provides. She really does treat him like her own and it’s so lovely to know that trust goes both ways.
It’s always our aim to be flexible, supportive and human about things because life happens and we know how important it is to have someone in your corner when your pup isn’t at their best.

A few years ago, Nathan also helped us with our other cockapoo, Buddy, through Magic Matt training, and the difference he made was incredible. His knowledge, energy, and genuine love for dogs really shine through in everything he does. We couldn’t recommend him more highly!

There was lots of opportunities to ask questions and Nathan was really knowledgeable on the subject. I’m looking forward to attending the canine body language course 🙂
