All About Your Friendly Professional Neighbourhood Trainer & Walker Caroline.
The first thing you should know about me is that I am obsessed with dogs. If they did a scan of my brain, it would be in the shape of a one. I love all animals, but dogs are my thing. I have three of my own, two westies and a border collie, and hope to get a working cocker soon.
I have had a dog my whole life, and started walking dogs in my area when I was 10.
My road to becoming a dog trainer wasn’t really something I thought I could do, I have always wanted to work with animals from a young age but I didn’t like blood so didn’t go down the vet route.
It was in 2016 I finally decided to take the leap into the Dog Training world, it was my time as a dog walker that really pushed me down that road. I wanted to understand their behavior and body language more, I wanted to help support my solo walking dogs and understand reactive dogs. I spent a lot of time researching and attending a number of classes to see what fitted my beliefs, which started my journey with Gwen Baileys Puppy School. I spent a few years shadowing classes before getting my qualifications for Dog Training.
Since then I have got a number of qualifications in Dog Training, Scent work, Gun dog training, Reactivity, Body Language and Kids Around Dogs. I am also working on my Level 5 to become a behaviourist.
Not only am I Dog Trainer I am also a Dog Walker.
I am qualified, experienced, and professional dog walker based in the Mottingham area. Covering Grove Park, Chislehurst, Bromley, Petts Wood, Farnborough, Eltham, Sidcup and surrounding areas.
My dogs are my world so I know how important they are to you. Their well being and care is my number one priority and all dogs are treated as mine own.
A walk isn’t just a walk when in my care I like to make sure they have fun, lots of hugs and kisses, they get lots of mental stimulation and walks meet their needs. I like to call them adventure walks. This can happen on solo walks or group walks.
Back in 2016 I started a very successful dog walking company Little Paws Paws, sadly two years later I was told I was allergic to dogs so had to give up walking my doggies. In the end the hospital made a mistake with my results. Now in 2024 I am back dog walking. it is my favourite thing to do I have missed it so much I am so excited to meet and walk your beautiful doggies.
All dogs go under an assessment to see what they are like and what group walks they would be suitable for.
I have a fully secure van with crates. It has lights and air con and a fan. It’s all kitted out with everything your dog needs for all weathers and safe travels.
Be it training or walking I am here to support you and your little one.
Creating positive reinforcement.
