Pet retailer Jollyes has announced plans to expand to more than 250 stores across the UK over the next five years after reporting another year of growth.
The retailer said revenue increased by 8.7%, while like-for-like sales rose by 4.3%, reflecting continued demand from pet owners shopping both in-store and online.
Over the past year, Jollyes also opened 14 new stores, expanded its frozen raw and fresh pet food ranges, introduced new own-brand products and relaunched its popular Pick & Mix natural treats.
The company also highlighted its partnership with Uber, designed to make shopping more convenient for customers.
Investing in Growth
Jollyes says it has no plans to slow down, with ambitious investment planned across its stores, products and customer services.
The retailer aims to grow its estate to more than 250 locations over the next five years while continuing to invest in its colleagues, product ranges and the communities it serves.
The announcement follows another year of expansion as Jollyes continues to strengthen its position within the UK’s competitive pet retail sector.
What This Means for Pet Owners
For pet owners, the expansion is likely to mean greater access to pet supplies, specialist products and in-store advice as new locations open across the country.
