But sometimes the reality is a bit different. Maybe your dog drags you down the street, ignores you at the park, or barks at everything that moves. Maybe your puppy is nipping and chewing and you're feeling out of your depth. Or perhaps they chase squirrels, rabbits, deer or river wildlife, and walks have become stressful.

I'm Sarah from Barkshire Dog Training, and I offer Lifestyle Dog Training: working with you in your everyday life to build a connection with your dog that genuinely lasts. Every programme is bespoke, built around your goals and your dog's individual needs, because no two dogs and no two families are the same.

I use force free, evidence based methods and I'm qualified through the Institute of Modern Dog Training (IMDT). I have a particular interest in supporting rescue dogs and their owners.

I work with you one to one, with sessions at your home, at my Caversham venue, or out on location, whichever makes most sense for what we're working on. You'll also have my support between sessions, so you never feel stuck waiting for the next appointment.

Whether you're starting out with a new puppy, working through a specific behaviour challenge, or tackling something more complex like predatory behaviour, I'll design a training journey that makes sense for you both.
